Dear Sir,
I am writing to complain about a mobile phone that I purchased from your online store two
weeks ago. I ordered the phone on July 5 through your official website under order no.2645A, and it was delivered to my home three days later.
Unfortunately, I have experienced several problems with the device since the day I received
it. First of all, the battery drains extremely quickly, even when the phone is not being used.
In addition, the screen freezes frequently, making it impossible to open applications or
make phone calls. I tried restarting the phone by following the troubleshooting
instructions provided on your website, but the problem still remains.
As the phone is still under warranty, I would appreciate if you could either replace the
device with a new one or provide a full refund. I have attached a copy of my receipt
and order confirmation for your reference.
I have always trusted your company because of its good reputation, so hope this matter
can be resolved as soon as possible. I look forward to your prompt response.

Some people think that universities should only accept students with the highest marks, while others believe that students of all abilities should have the opportunity to study at university.

It is often argued that universities should admit only the best academic performers, while others believe that higher education should be available to everyone regardless of their academic results. This essay will discuss both viewpoints before explaining why I believe universities should provide opportunities for students with different abilities.
On the one hand, selecting students with the highest grades ensures that universities maintain high academic standards. Students who have achieved excellent results are generally more prepared for challenging courses and are more likely to complete their degrees successfully. As a result, universities can produce highly skilled graduates who contribute to scientific research, medicine, engineering, and other important fields. Furthermore, limited places at universities mean that institutions often need to choose applicants who are most capable of succeeding.
To begin with, academic grades do not always reflect a person’s true potential. Some students may perform poorly in school because of financial difficulties, family problems, or health issues. However, they may become successful if given the opportunity to continue their education. Not to forget, society needs professionals with a wide range of skills, and universities should support students from diverse backgrounds rather than focusing only on examination results.
In my opinion, universities should consider both academic achievements and other qualities, such as motivation, creativity, and determination. While minimum entry requirements are necessary to ensure students can cope with their studies, admissions should not depend solely on examination scores.To exemplify, many universities in Canada consider a student’s participation in extra activities and also his contribution to the society in form of volunteer work.
In conclusion, although admitting only top-performing students can help maintain academic excellence. Nonetheless, universities should also offer opportunities to capable students whose abilities may not be fully reflected by their grades. This approach would create a fairer education system and benefit society as a whole.
