I am writing to sincerely apologize for being unable to assist at the reception desk as requested. While I understand the importance of supporting the team, I regret that I am currently unable to take on this responsibility.
At present, I am working on several urgent assignments, including the monthly report and client documentation, both of which require immediate attention. As a result, it would be difficult for me to manage additional duties without affecting the quality of my work.
However, I would like to suggest an alternative solution. Perhaps another colleague who has fewer time-sensitive tasks could temporarily cover the reception desk. Alternatively, I would be happy to assist once I have completed my current workload.

Some people believe that technology has made our lives more complicated rather than simpler. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
In today’s modern world, technology plays a crucial role in our daily lives. While some individuals argue that it has made life more complicated, I strongly believe that it has, overall, made life significantly easier.To elucidate my point further,I would present some arguments in the forthcoming paragraphs.
To begin with, technology has greatly improved communication. In the past, people had to rely on letters or landline phones, which were often slow and inconvenient. In contrast, modern tools such as smartphones and video calls allow instant communication across long distances. As a result, people can stay connected more efficiently than ever before.
Moreover, technology has simplified many routine tasks. For example, online services enable individuals to shop, pay bills, and book appointments from home. Consequently, people save a considerable amount of time and efforts in their daily lives.
Admittedly, some people may find technology difficult to use, especially at the beginning. However, with regular use and practice, most individuals become comfortable with these tools. Therefore, this initial difficulty should not be seen as a major disadvantage.
In conclusion, although technology can sometimes seem complex, it has largely made life more convenient and efficient. I firmly believe that its advantages outweigh any drawbacks
